My overall aim in undertaking the Looking Good program was a steady fat loss. In the first year and early part of my second year at university, I was in my prime with regards my fitness level. Through the latter part of my degree, when the work became more intense, I started to put weight on.

After finishing University I moved back to the area and joined a gym with the objective of losing the weight I had put on. My training was controlled by my work time. I found it hard to schedule exercise sessions due to my working hours being quite intense. I knew I had to take a different approach so I approached Adam Holtby about the Looking Good program.

I was apprehensive about starting the program at first, as I was concerned that I wouldn't achieve my goals. These fears were soon put to rest as Adam made the sessions enjoyable and his ability to put a positive spin on every situation always kept me motivated.

Andrew's six week results included:

Adam kept the sessions mixed and the exercises varied. I would always feel as though I had really pushed myself when training with Adam, something I know I would never have done if training alone. This ensured that the program was never mundane, and I wouldn't slip into "going through the motions". Adam had a unique way of making me confront my gym demons, such as running, which has always been a bore for me.

Another of my major apprehensions was the classes at my gym, I never imagined I would ever be fit enough to partake, within a few weeks of the program however I was a regular at the spin classes, and loving them too!

The positive comments that came from my friends and work colleagues relating to my changing physical appearance really helped motivate me further.
